This restaurant promises a culinary journey that tantalizes both the palate and the senses, making it a must-visit for those craving bold and expertly crafted flavors.

The menu at Ciudad is a celebration of rich, smoky, and aromatic dishes that strike a perfect balance between hearty and nuanced. Standouts include the addictive Patatas Bravas — crispy potatoes bathed in a smoky, spicy sauce — and the delightfully creamy, tangy Smoked Yogurt that pairs beautifully with their warm, fresh flatbread. The Lamb Riblets earn high praise for their tender, fall-off-the-bone texture and deep, well-developed flavors that linger long after the first bite, capturing the essence of slow-cooked perfection.

For seafood lovers, the Grilled Octopus served with a Moroccan chermoula marinade is a revelation—each bite bursts with an inviting char and bright, herbaceous notes, complemented by the refreshing Green Salad that brings a crisp, vibrant contrast to the plate. Their Spicy Carrot Margarita is not only a drink but an experience, blending sweet heat and citrus in a way that refreshes and excites the palate.

The 1/2 pound and full-pound grilled selections let guests savor a variety of proteins, from the tahini-marinated Chicken to the richly spiced Moruno USDA Choice Steak, and the flavorful Shawarma Prawns with their hint of lemon and fresh mint. Each portion is served with care, highlighting the layers of seasoning and smoky grilling that define Ciudad’s distinctive style.

The ambiance buzzes with energy, enhanced by the friendly and attentive staff who skillfully manage a bustling, often fully packed dining room without ever making guests feel rushed. Whether seated inside among the rustic, earthy decor or enjoying a lively evening on the patio, guests are drawn into a community atmosphere where stories are shared over plates piled high with delicious meats, vegetables, and soulful dips.

Customers frequently express genuine enthusiasm for Ciudad's thoughtful service and standout dishes. Jenn Nilsen highlights the perfectly textured fried sweet corn and the brilliant pairing of braised beets with labneh, while Anna Baatz praises the vibrant patio atmosphere and encourages sharing a diverse selection of their BBQ meats paired with their house-made sauces. Susana Angel Cano calls it “one of the best restaurants in Seattle,” applauding the freshness and taste, and Shwetha Chandrashekar raves about the lamb riblets' melt-in-your-mouth quality. Even Ravi Vachhani, visiting on a rainy day, found the octopus “amazing” with its bold seasoning and the hangar steak solid and satisfying.

We had excellent service and a fantastic meal at Ciudad. The seating host and servers were all very friendly and attentive while running a completely packed restaurant. The Fried Sweet Corn was tender yet had a slight crisp to the texture and a delicious smoky flavor. The braised beets served with labneh were made for a perfect combination (the labneh was also good to dip the flatbread in). The pomegranate molasses on the Fried Cauliflower was delicious, and if you like spicy, the Seared Haloumi has some heat to it. To finish off our meal, we shared the panna cotta which had a perfect creamy texture. I look forward to returning to try more items on the menu!

Kisses for all the chefs and staff here. The good was amazing, our server was so thoughtful and funny, and we had such a blast eating on the patio. Definitely go all out and share a bunch of their barbecue meats and small plates- it's the way to go! And don't forget to order some sauces to pair with your proteins. Everything was delicious but I especially appreciated the octopus, green salad smothered in Feta, and saucy harissa roasted carrots.

One of the best lamb riblets. Definitely coming back for this. Meat just fell off the bones. It was cooked so well. The bread was also warm and very fresh. I would rate falafel average when placed with lamb.

Stopped by here as I needed to be somewhere close by & this came up with fairly solid reviews. It was raining the day I went so I couldn’t sit outdoors, but I can tell it’d be a nice vibe. Overall the food was pretty good, the octopus was amazing with great flavor (some may say it has too much seasoning but I liked it) and the hangar steak was solid. I got it with a side of the chimichurri sauce which had a nice flavor profile. One thing I would make note of, as others have also mentioned, is the service. There wasn’t many people around & I was sitting at the bar, but it took a while for someone to come. I noticed another couple next to me that was waiting for a while after they arrived too.

Had the most amazing food! They offer amazing variety of dishes. Lamb, chicken, pork, beef. The beet salad was surprisingly tasty - I never would have imagined how it would taste but I highly recommend! The sesame cookies were so thin crunchy and delish! The vibe seemed so calm. Went on a busy lunch hour but had a table available enough for the guests I was wish. Came here with a group of coworkers and it was such an amazing time! Definitely will be returning with my family and try out a drink ;)

I really think Ciudad is hidden gem in Seattle mostly because it's hidden in Georgetown. Their food is phenomenal, their staff are incredibly helpful (great attitude even when answering our dumb questions), and the restaurant has a hip street vibe to it. Street parking only. The first thing you notice when you get there is the outdoor patio seating, an outdoor kitchen grill, and basically the lack of people. Don't worry, you're at the right place. The main dining area is being a steel door. Go through it and it'll feel like you're entering into a concrete greenhouse but without the humidity and greenery. Please wait to be seated. Once seated, take your time to look over all that they offer. It's a fairly simple menu but that's how they can ensure it all tastes great!! Here are my thoughts of what we had, in no particular order: Fried sweet corn: this is some roasted, sweet goodness that are corn ribs. This isn't individual corn kernels but rather some of the cob is still attached to the corn. It all tastes naturally sweet! .... To the point where I even ate the cob (kinda tough and chewy but it still tasted sweet, and I don't mean like sugar sweet but genuinely sweet like how sweet corn should be). Apparently it's a popular choice and for good reason! The plating looks so inviting too! Great for sharing... Or all for yourself. I'm not judging. Lamb ribs: wow, the ribs were tender. They pulled away from the bone fairly easy. Still juicy. Still yummy. The salad that sits on top of the ribs is refreshing and looks beautiful! Grilled lamb and beef kofta: I thought it was ok but mostly because it has the consistency of a ground meat pattie. If that works for you then absolutely go for it!! They sit on a slightly tangy sauce and topped with a slightly vinegary salad. Presentation is great. Taste is even better. Grilled prawns: the prawns were neutral in the sense that they're lightly spiced grilled prawns with lemon and mint. Can't go wrong! Fao 34 octopus: I tend to want my seafood to do the flavor talking. In this case, the Moroccan chermoula (marinade/sauce) was overpowering (though to be fair, octopus and seafood flavors in general are naturally very subtle). But I'm not complaining; each person has their own preferences. The marinade was slightly spicy, slightly salty, and still great! And the flat bread with dip: let me put it this way, we ordered it more than once and each time, the flat bread was warm and fluffy and still yummy. 'nough said. Street parking only.

I failed to take a pic of the hanger steak but it was cooked perfectly, tender and delicious with the dipping sauces - chimichurri, moja rosa and lemon aioli - superb. The flatbread with the 3 dipping sauces were exceptional. The green salad needed a little help so we added lime juice and a bit of olive oil. Our server Nahleen, was also fantastic - very knowledgeable and helpful with our selections - overall a delicious meal. Very pleased we stopped for dinner on our way through town.
